The movement of the cantilever in the groove of the vinyl record creates shocks that cause vibration of this plate, friction in the bearings and engine noise also creates vibrations that pass to the vinyl plate. Even vibration from the floor and acoustic noise also accumulates on vinyl records. All this extraneous vibration then gets into the sound signal as a distortion. To reduce the vibration of the plate, we have developed a new clamp, inside it the mooving system in a viscous liquid translates extraneous vibrations through friction into heat, thereby reducing distortions in the musical signal.
It is also known that the operation of electric motors is not perfect and causes micro speed jerks. When the rotor poles approach the stator, a slight acceleration of rotation speed, when they move away, a slight slowdown speed. These small speed changes modulate the sound signal, introduce distortion there. This is a frequency modulation that is easily perceived by human hearing even in small quantities and is felt as a distortion, as sharpness and tension in music.

Knecht is the first company on the market to offer a hydrodynamic clamp that allows you to improve the signal by reducing plate vibration and stabilizing the disk rotation speed. Clamp weight 760 g.
Available in three colors: silver, black, titanium.
