For tonearm and turntable

For turntables Knecht Audio has developed a series of DampEcht products to reduce vibration in the cabinet, tonearm and cartridge.
For tonearm we offer our smallest damping device DampEcht TT weighing only 6.5 grams. Despite its low weight, it is a very effective tool. It improves tracking accuracy, reduces tonearm arm vibration, resulting in cleaner and airier sound, tighter and more collected bass, and more natural sounding acoustic recordings.
To minimise vibration from bearing, motor, air or shelf vibrations, we recommend installing DampEcht M on the turntable cabinet. The use of different units in the DampEcht series is complementary. By adding a DampEcht from a different series, the effect of improving sound images becomes stronger.
Knecht Audio presents the new SpinEcht device for stabilising the disc rotation speed. The speed of the disc is not constant and fluctuates at different frequencies depending on the type of motor and drive. Stabilising the speed significantly reduces the frequency modulation of the audio signal, which is perceived by the human ear as distortion.
To isolate the vinyl turntable from the shelf or floor surface, Knecht Audio presents StandEcht Air Base pneumatic isolation platform. The design of the platform has 3 Hz resonance frequency, which allows to effectively isolate the turntable from vibrations transmitted through the support surface.
